With challenges surrounding her and dreams that sometimes seemed bigger than her circumstances, she discovered something powerful—books could take her places her environment could not.

Through reading, education, determination, and faith in her future, Chazare continued pushing forward, eventually earning four college degrees and building a life centered on helping others.

Based on a true story, this book encourages children—especially those growing up in challenging circumstances—to believe that their dreams are possible. It reminds young readers that they don't have to be the best athlete, the most popular student, or come from the perfect neighborhood to succeed.
